The Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH) is a leading institute in the field of applied laser research. As such, it is strongly connected with several research groups at Leibniz University Hannover. One of these co-operations takes place at Hannover Institute of Technology (HITec) where the Laser Components and Fibres Group of the Institute of Quantum Optics (IQO) searches for a talented candidate with strong background in optics and lasers for a

Master-/Student-/Bachelor-Project (m/f/d)

The Laser Components and Fibres group of the IQO works in the field of laser active fibres and maintains a complete fabrication chain for speciality fibres. The research activities span a broad range from numerical simulations over characterisation of preforms and fibres to novel doping concepts including nanoparticle doping. As part of the latter, we investigate how a combination of nanoparticles and optical fibres may create new exciting opportunities for photonics and quantum technology. Further information on the research activities of the Laser Components and Fibres group can be found here: http://go.lu-h.de/WUyDQ.

A complete job posting including contact information can be found on the group’s homepage: http://go.lu-h.de/A2qmo.
